Brief Club History

Located beneath the beautiful foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in the city of Rancho Cucamonga, Red Hill Country Club delights its members and guests with glorious views and immaculate sunsets. A private member-owned club, Red Hill Country Club was established in 1921 and designed by a legendary golf course architect George C. Thomas. Following World War II, William (Billy) P. Bell completed Thomas' plan for creating an extraordinary championship course with the addition of the (back) nine holes. Red Hill could be considered the older brother to other great southern California clubs designed by Thomas-Los Angeles, Riviera and Bel Air Country Clubs.

Red Hill is a mature, challenging, exquisitely maintained "classic" course where members and their guests enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with the tee times rarely necessary. Whether for business or pleasure, Red Hill's playing, practice and dining facilities meet the needs of all. One will always find a game at Red Hill with a variety of members at all playing levels. For those looking to improve their game, Red Hill offers lessons by one of our top PGA golf professionals.

Red Hill Country Club provides a full social calendar. Activities are planned yearlong and of course our members may reserve any of the facilities for all personal or business occasions. Our superb staff and service will spoil you and your guests while our executive chef prepares a delightful cuisine to your liking. Red Hill offers breakfast, brunch, and dinner throughout the year, with a full bar and lounge to complete any activity.

Youth activities and programs are yet another wonderful feature of Red Hill Country Club. These programs include, first-rate golf instruction, swimming lessons and of course Camp Red Hill, which is a yearly event and a blast for kids of all ages. We at Red Hill have a wonderful swimming team that competes against other private clubs in the area. Red Hill Country Club provides our members and guests with a fun, relaxing, safe, protective and private environment that you and your family will enjoy day in and day out.
